Two recent surveys confirm the brand recognition of the MCI Seal of Excellence

We are pleased to share with you two of the most recent developments within the Master Chefs' Institute (MCI).
Since many of our clients promote their products to both the foodservice and retail markets, confirming the brand recognition of the MCI Seal of Excellence and its added value was paramount, as confirmed by two recent surveys.

FOODSERVICE SURVEY

MCI commissioned a survey, focusing on chefs, hospitality/foodservice operators, and industry purchase influencers. Flash results show that 91% indicated that the MCI seal-endorsed products would increase confidence in the product’s quality, performance, and manufacturers’ claims. Furthermore, 87% of respondents said that the test results would enable them to better assess the price/value as compared to competitive products.

CONSUMER SURVEY

Without any familiarity with MCI’s rigorous testing procedure 79% of consumers (food purchasers and food preparers) indicated that products displaying the Seal of Excellence would very likely/somewhat likely influence their purchase decision.

After respondents were briefed about the rigorous testing performed by the Master Chefs’ Institute, 89% of consumers confirmed that the MCI seal on a product would substantially influence their purchase decisions.
